Year 2015. Famous Helsinki Olympic Stadium, the host of 1952 Olympics, was about to be renovated and modernised. The seats of the stadium were to be changed to new ones among other renovation projects. We decided to give Finns chance to get a piece of Finnish national history to their homes by creating unique design chairs from the stadium seats. The product was branded Stadionistuin and art directed to elegant and timeless piece of design. Man who's responsible of the design of the chair is Tapio Anttila.
